Some six weeks ago, I began writing and submitting articles to free content sites in order to promote the six commercial Websites I own. The results have been both swift and dramatic, and the number of links from external Websites to my own Websites has increased from nearly nothing to more than 10,000 in a little more than a month. These results have inspired me to write more articles, and as I own six different Websites, I have six different topics to choose from. Still, my ideas occasionally run dry and that certainly happens to others who write articles for their own Websites. Writing and submitting articles on a regular basis does a lot for promoting your Websites, but where can you find more ideas for articles when you run out?

Products of North Staffordshire based computer manufacturers, Optronix Limited, have been nominated in four categories of Computer Trade Shopper's 2005 Excellence Awards, the computer trade's equivalent of the Oscars, run in association with Microsoft, Microscope, Intel and VIP Computers.
Competing with industry giants Sony, Iiyama, Samsung and Gigagabyte among many others, the number of product category nominations exceeds that of any other manufacturer worldwide.
"For any product to receive a nomination is difficult enough", commented Optronix Technical Director, Philip Kingsland, "To receive four is, in my 40 years in the industry, unheard of!"

An overall look at information technology and where it has taken us.
Around one hundred and fifty years ago, businesses ran their day to day operations completely different from what businesses of the modern era do to run their day to day operations. People back then worked under candle light doing math calculations on paper, the old fashion way, before electricity came about in the early 20th century. Now, most of the civilized world wouldn't know what to do with themselves without technology. Imagine not even having a calculator for math or the internet to do research. Yes, I know, it is hard to believe people were able to survive without these advanced tools that we take for granted each day. The advances in communication combined with the evolution of the IT industry has made it possible for people to do business throughout the world in real time. Improvements in IT improve our lifestyles and business by allowing computers to reduce complications and enrich possibilities.

An eBay purchase that turned sour.
A story of fraud, deceit, and broken promises.
Let me preface my statements by saying that I think eBay is great. I'm a handicapped senior citizen and it's been a boon to me to be able to shop the Internet and particularly eBay. In nearly six years I've had two problems both to do with non-delivery.
One incident was insignificant as it involved a $5.00 purchase and was quickly remedied. It only deserves mention because it was my first purchase, and because I complained about non-delivery the vindictive seller gave me a negative feed back, which remains on my record to this day.
