Synopsis:
Fanuc Power Mate (Models D, F) has an option called "Workpiece Number Search". Using this option, the PMC can initiate the execution of a specified part program. This is especially useful in cases where the Power Mate is used to control special purpose machines that produce a known set of components. Such applications are found in batch production factories.
How it Works:
To synchronize the PMC and CNC functions, there is a communication area in the Fanuc Power Mate where the PMC & CNC exchange signals. These are a set of bytes and there are two areas namely:
a) The "G" area - signals from the PMC to the CNC
b) The "F" area - signals from the CNC to the PMC

With complaints about ISPs reaching new heights, it seems that more people than ever are unhappy with their provider, but unsure where else to go. If this sounds like you, then you need some strategies to help you out.
Keep Records
You may not think you're getting the best service possible from your current ISP, but can you exactly say why? We do mean exactly, because vague thoughts like 'sometimes it's hard to get connected', or 'occasionally the speeds are slow' don't help you at all. What you really need are statistics – such as when you connect, how many times you have to dial before you log on, the speed you finally connect to, and so on.

Find out if you should switch to using voice over internet protocol technology.
Before you are able to assess the truthfulness or the reliability of any VoIP reviews, you must first of all attempt to understand the VoIP technology and what it is all about. This task may seem somewhat unnecessary considering the fact that the use of VoIP seems rather straightforward but most of the time we often assume we know what we actually don't. By taking out the careful time to understand how VOIP works, you cover grounds that you may have not previously been aware of. In any reviews you come across fundamental aspects of a VoIP service will be discussed and you must be aware of these aspects.

It seems that one thing that never changes with regards to satellite TV is that it never stops changing. This is readily apparent in the level of multicultural programming that has come available in the recent past and it seems that they days of only one or two channels available for a select culture or language have given way to a veritable landslide of a multitude of choices. Satellite TV programming service providers are at the vanguard in recognizing the Korean market and while other service providers such as cable have been dragging their heels in this area satellite service providers have gone full steam ahead. If you access web-based services such as social networking websites, message forums, or online banking applications, you've probably had to register for a user account. This sometimes drawn-out process required you to enter a login name as well as a password (or get one assigned to you), providing some sense of security when accessing the service.
Since good passwords (not the words 'computer' nor 'secret') can be almost impossible to remember (such as a ten character combination of letters, numbers, and punctuation), many services now use a "security question" you can answer in case you forget your username and/or password and need to retrieve or reset them. By offering a security question, these services can help ensure it is really you when a request is made for your login information.

In these days of all-out combat in Afghanistan, terrorist attacks in New
York and Anthrax in Washington, it's easy to lose one's perspective. I know
I've become addicted to checking the major news web sites several times a
day. I now listen to the news radio stations on the way to and from work
instead of my normal rock and roll station. It seems like something might
happen at any moment, and I want to know immediately.
Something that seemed to be mentioned in every IT related publication for
the last year or so is the possibility of cyber warfare. This is the concept
of attacking a country through it's information systems (specifically the
internet).

You know you are a PC addict when you can't tear yourself away from what you're doing to watch X-Files. On the plus side, you know you can cope with your addiction if you can manage to raise yourself out of the swivel chair for long enough to set the video. Millions of people watch X-Files and even there are fan clubs on the Net. Its members call themselves X-Philes the sort of word play that only works online.
Of course, with huge viewers you hardly need to go online to contact a fellow fan, but it's an example of the way in which PC technology enables you to extend your enjoyment of almost every activity - if you're willing to stretch a point and call watching TV as active. More interesting, though, is the way a PC and modem enables you to enjoy this kind of social life with people who keep different hours from you.

Acronyms make the computer world go round. Things like
HTML, DHTML, XHTML; it's enough to make a grown man cry.
Well, look out! There's a new player in alphabet-town:
"WAP." So what is it and why
should you care? WAP stands for "Wireless Application Protocol"
and it allows people to access the Net using wireless
devices like mobile phones and other gadgets.
It's estimated that by the year 2002 there will be over
800 million wireless users around the world. Eventually
all wireless tools will come equipped with WAP as
standard issue. That's a lot of possible viewers for your
website. The problem is that wireless net-surfers
will not be able to access your HTML-driven site. Their
devices can only read sites built in (get ready for another
acronym!) WML.
