Step 2. Get a link with your affiliate id from the affiliate program.

A good place to find an affiliate program to promote is an Affiliate Directory. You can just do a search on google and find plenty. ClickBank, Commission Junction, & PayDotCom are great places to find affiliate programs. Once you find a program to promote, it's all about driving traffic to that offer. There are many ways to promote your affiliate link. Some examples are Pay Per Click, Article Marketing, and Forum Marketing. I suggest you try all sorts of methods to drive traffic and then focus on the methods that you like and that give you the most results for your time invested.
