In this small post we thought to recap some of the techniques that can be used to market your new site. Most of these are already known, but it is always nice to have all of them collected in one place :
* Yahoo Answers.
Answering questions at http://answers.yahoo.com can be proven an extremely efficient marketing strategy. People there leave thousands of questions and many of them remain unanswered. Answering questions, and solving problems in a category similar to your line of business (i.e. Computer Engineer, SEO, marketing, work from home, business models) can easily make you an expert' of the specific field. Being the expert means that people will want to actually visit your site and learn more. Further to this answering questions on yahoo answers can produce a number of backlinks for your site.

We all know that a link from another blog is a great link building step. If I'm to explain why I don't add a link to my favorite blogs/sites at the sidebar where you usually see “Blogroll”, I'll have to bring three main reasons: ranking loss, prominence, and due introduction.
I don't do this and don't recommend you to do it either. To explain in more details what I exactly mean by these three reasons, I'm going to attend to them one by one.

Why use WordPress as a website? Before I spent some time with the platform I had no idea. Soon I learned that WordPress is much more then just blogging. There are several features that WordPress can offer you that bring it to the next level, and all of these can make your blog look more like a website-blog cyborg every day.PagesThe availability of pages can make your blog more than it ever was before. Pages can add the dimension your blog needs to move to the next step in its online existence. Once you've snagged yourself some of the all-important content, the sky is the limit. This kind of page can really make your blog bring more to the table without cluttering your webhome.Personally, my favorite thing about pages is their ability to give your readers more to click about for. Five keeps it uncluttered, but makes it information filled as well. If you're going to go for less, no worries, just make sure the stuff you put up there is quality {naturally}. Do you need to increase traffic to your website on a shoe string budget? Building a website can empty your wallet quick. Free traffic may just be the thing you are looking for right now. It might seem too good to be true, but it's not. The kind of investment I am talking about will require your energy, time and creativity.
Backlinks
Building links with other sites is a terrific way to get traffic to your site. Get in touch with the owner of a site that is the same size as yours and see if they will let you post a link on their site. Offer to post their link on your site. Both of you will increase traffic to your sites and move up in the search engines. There are automatic ways of doing link exchanges, but i would be careful when using them.

Whatever you, be as cautious as possible. On average it takes 175 hours to recover your own identity and nearly $808. The prosecution rates for identity thieves are low. We are progressing somewhat though. A bill was passed in 2004 by Bush that dished out tougher penalties for identity thieves.
