Google has added a new revolutionary feature to its Google's news section.
The search engine giant is giving the chance to the people who are
related to a story published in Google news to directly respond to it.
So called ''participants'' (…of a story) can send their comment to news-comments@google.com
and their contact details in order for Google to verify their
identity. These comments are linked alongside the normal media coverage
of the story.
At the moment, it is up to Google to contact people and organisations
concerned by a specific story and ask them to comment. This idea is not
new, Yahoo news
has already experimented with this by displaying forums based around
specific news stories. But the experience was a disaster and they
stopped it again last year because the site had been quickly encumbered
by spams and other irrelevant comments.

Creative Methods for "One Way" Links
Everyone knows the importance of getting other sites to link to you and the most common way is for a reciprical link. That is the kind of link that Click Sentrys reciprical tools address. These are great links and should always be sought after. However, there has been much discussion about Google giving less weight to a link that is recip. One of the ways to combat this is "triangle" linking but this can be very time consuming and hard to explain to new website owners. That brings us to another method:

It even surprised me.
Yes, even though I have been pointing out the possibility since July, I was shocked when I heard the news as well.
You see, I was sure we were at least a year off from this glorious day.
The News
Yahoo has had a little facelift, which you've probably read about by now. The real news is more important for your site - the "My Yahoo!" page looks different too.
On September 28, 2004, surfers who logged in to their personalized Yahoo area saw an announcement explaining the RSS and Atom files that show updated information to a website as content feeds, effectively pushing news feeds into the mainstream.

Deep Linking Strategies for
SEO
Linking is one of the prime areas
of any SEO campaign and is considered a key concept that can drive targeted
traffic to your website if done the right way. The good news is that Linking is
effective and the bad news is that there are many aspects of linking that have
undergone severe changes over the years.
One of the good aspects is that
one single linking tip can put you way ahead of your competition especially
where most webmasters think that all you need is a reciprocal link directory for
gaining link popularity in some of the top search engines like Google or Yahoo.
If you have already gone through the Google page rank update then you are aware
of the fact that directories with hundreds of links are not happening any more.
It is being treated as a negative tactic.

Recently I received a short, anonymous entry in my guestbook
on Internet Tips and Secrets. It simply said "Change your
colors". Short, to the point, and extraordinarily rude. I
quickly deleted the entry from my guestbook as it was not
appropriate and did not fit well into the context. I don't
mind an occasional politely negative but helpful comment, but
those which are stupid (as this one was) or blatantly abusive
are not necessary.
As I deleted the guestbook entry I thought of the gall of the
person who left it (besides the cowardice of leaving a message
with no return email address). This is my creation, my web
site - who has the right to tell me what colors or navigation
scheme or for that matter, anything else (unsolicited).

Here is some great news if you are currently earning a living or making some extra cash through auctions or were considering it.
Yahoo Auctions has announced that they will stop charging fees for US based auctions. This is designed for the consumer auctions primarily but has very important implications for internet marketers as well.
"Yahoo! Auctions has changed its pricing to create a model that is free for all consumers listing items on our Auctions platform. We have eliminated all fees associated with Auctions listings, including listing fees and final value fees. Many users have been asking for this type of structure, and we are happy to provide it as a way to strengthen our partnership with the seller community and clearly demonstrate our commitment to our sellers' success. The new pricing model will go into effect Monday, June 6, 2005"
